Hello I am on the wait list for UCR and the major I am wait listed for is pre-business. Would it be ok/raise my chances of getting in if I emailed UCR and asked that if I am not eligible for wait list admittance for pre-business I’ll take Business economics or regular economics?

@suns16 were u put on the waitlist for your alternate major? Or did UCR have you on the waitlist for your primary major, but they offered you admission for your alternate?? Congratulations on being admitted

Sorry to bother anyone, but I was wondering if I need to pay the SIR amount for UCR ? I am on the waitlist, and the deadline is May 1st.
@Melipalvarez16: If you are accepted off the waitlist and want to enroll then you pay the SIR fee. If you have not been accepted off the waitlist, then you SIR to another school until you hear one way or another from UCR.
Do they automatically start tomorrow? Kinda nervous…

UCR just extended their SIR date to May 15, so does that mean that we’ll have to wait longer to know if we got off? --Also wondering if bio is a difficult major to get off the waitlist:)
My son withdrew his application for Computer Science (2 days ago) from UCR and accepted his offer at CP Pomona. I hope they have enough information to start drawing on the waitlist (if necessary).
