UCs and Improvement in GPA

So, for my sophomore year, I got a 3.0 unweighted (3.14w), then a 3.43uw (3.57w). For my junior year, I got a 3.66uw (4.33w) then a 3.5uw (4.17w).

Does the UC system look at this significant improvement in GPA (at least, weighted) and take it into serious consideration?

Also, do I have a decent chance at getting into UC Davis? (in terms of GPA of course)

Thank you in advance.

What is your UC GPA?

3.8 UC GPA.

Thank you for replying, but my main question is whether or not the improvement will count for much?

I know a 1.0 increase between sophomore and junior year earns points at UC Santa Cruz.

UC Davis lists
“Marked academic improvement in the 9th through 11th grades”

Looks like a 3.8 UC GPA gets a 48 percent admit rate.

Would you guess that the other UCs give points for improvement?

You have to look at each schools description of their review process. No comments like that on Santa Barbara’s.

Okay, thanks a bunch Shrinkrap. :)
