UC's and subject tests?

Subject tests are no longer required to go attend UC's, correct? Some of my friends are taking them anyways for them and I was wondering if there was any point in doing so or any advantages?

Also, just curious, anyone j ow any schools that require subject tests? Thanks :)

This is what I believe, (or what I want to believe), subject tests aren’t as important since they are making a policy change about it. They’ll still be “considered”, but It shouldn’t be a big impact if you didn’t take it. I would say it may give you brownie points if you score a 700 or higher, but any less won’t really say much.

Frankly, I’m not sure if I should take it either…I am planning to take SAT I in october again and I don’t have much time to study for it.

The advantage is that you can apply to other schools other than the UC’s

You might as well take them. Usually they correspond to respective AP tests, so there isn’t that much extra studying involved.
