So as long as i write a pretty good essay, what are my chanced for ucla, ucsd, ucsb, and ucdavis
thanks in advance:)

thanks:)
DO you know if there is anything else during my senior year i can add to my applicatiion to be less in the gray area.
Would i need to write a risk essay??? OR more of just a standard one?\
thanks

Thanks:)
also, my rents want me to apply to berkeley but 1) i dont want to, b) i dont think i would get it.
what are the actual chances of me getting admitted?

I would aim for the highest scores possible, of course. UCLA/Cal are going to be in the 650-750 range (to reflect average SAT sub-section scores.)

Well, last April I talked to a mother who told her borderline son NOT to apply to Cal as he would never get in. He is now a deleriously happy freshman at UC Berkeley! With the UC's, if you have the money, it never hurts to check another box on the application. Easy to apply to all of them with one app.

I never understood why parents would discourage a borderline applicant. Unless you think $40 is worth more to you than confirmation one way or another, always apply.

so i just found out that if i retake on eof my classes, i'll actually have a 4.0 gpa, but online to retake it i only get 1 credit for the couse and supposedly it covers 2 semesters. do colleges view the "1 credit" grade the same as the 5 credit or w.e it is from the original high school course?
