I know my gpa is pretty bad, but there is a significant improvement junior year. will my sat's make up for it? this year my courses are fairly rigorous

I'm applying to all uc's except merced. That is, Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, UCI, Davis, UCSC, and UCR

I know im not gonna get in to Berkeley or LA, UCSD is also highly unlikely. But what do you think my chances are at Davis, UCSB, and UCI? I am actually pretty much interested in your views on UCSB, which is truthfully the only one I really want to go to. What do you think?

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Match
UCSC/UCR: Safe Match

Everything looks good for UCSB

any others?

confusedtoaster:

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI/UCSB/UCD: Match
UCSC/UCR: Safe Match

why are you applying to UCB and UCLA if you dont want to go though?

I do want to go to them. I just seriously doubt that I'll get in. I applied knowing that in the hopes that the admissions officers may possibly take some hallucinogens before reviewing my app and admit me, haha. No but really, I think I'd be just as happy if I got into UCSB or UCSD

whats this amnesty international publicity rep. is that for the actual organization or for a club?

its for the club at school, but the club is part of the larger organization Amnesty International. So Im the publicity representative in the club
