Last year decisions were posted online on 3-16 or 3-17. Based on last year’s admission thread, the scores for admitted engineering majors were MUCH higher than those of non-STEM majors. D is ChemE, so that makes us nervous, but LA/Econ majors may find it reassuring. Only two more months…
From the previous threads (last march), students first posted of receiving regents letters on Feb 28 and others were invited to chancellor receptions starting Feb 21. The chancellor receptions generally mean you are admitted (but apparently some in the past in Chicago ? did not mean that). You can be invited to chancellors and not be a regent and vice versa. AND you can be not invited for either and still be admitted, so don’t panic! good luck to all.
@jbourne @1337MOM @couplemoreweeks just got my Chancellor’s letter in the mail today. I’m in state and stats are above the 75th percentile so I figure it implies acceptance.
I got a Chancellor’s invitation today too! I live in SoCal. I’m almost hundred percent sure it means we’re in.
Basic stats: 3.97 uw GPA, 2210 SAT, 35 ACT (Don’t know my UC GPA)
@couplemoreweeks my D’s Chancellor invite came in the regular mail. She did not receive an email about this so I would say that with regular mail you absolutely still have a chance
