So I applied to UCSB as a biology major with a 3.25 gpa but I TAG'ed which mean I should be guaranteed in. It is already the end of February and I did not receive a confirmation letter saying that they received my application. People have already said that UCSB sent out their last confirmations on January 20th. So I emailed them about 5 minutes ago explaining my situation. Do you think everything will be OK once they realize their mistake. Do you think they can easily find my application.

The fact you haven’t heard anything isn’t a good sign. You should have been given an application number when the ap was accepted. I believe the instructions ask you to print and retain the confirmation screen. Most schools also send an ‘aplication received’ email shortly after submission. They tell you what to expect, how to check your status and such. If you didn’t get either, your ap wasn’t properly submitted. I doubt they will view this as their mistake.

My guess is you are out of luck until the next application window.

Hopefully you applied elsewhere -

Good Luck

So sorry NCalRent I probably should have mentioned that I applied to UCSB,UCLA,UCSD,and UCI and I received my confirmation email fromm all of them except UCSB. In addition I also have my UC ID.

Hopefully you get into the other campuses because, it sounds like UCSB never saw your ap.
Did they respond to your inquiry?

ya never mind I called them and they said that they did receive my application and my TAG. they said they were so busy that they were not able to email everyone.
