So recently I’ve committed to UCSB and I found 2 roommates and they’re both going to dorm at FT. The reputation of FT scares me because it’s known as the party dorm and that’s not really my thing BUT they do have non communal bathrooms which is a plus. Also the bike ride to campus would be great for fighting the freshman 15. My second and third choices are Santa Cruz or anacapa. I wouldn’t mind because of the ocean view but communal bathrooms scare me. Should I go for the generic freshman experience dorming somewhere social like FT and make freshmen friends or keep it safe on the on campus dorms?
