<p>Most community colleges are even accredited also. That means you can take your accounting classes there and qualify for the CPA exam.</p>
<p>As for the AASCB accreditation, it is only given to schools that have a BUSINESS schools. UCSB does not have a business school. It only has an accounting program which is apart of their economics department. If they had a separate business school, then they would probably be AACSB accredited. </p>
<p>For the big4, the biggest thing is to go to a school where they actually recruit. UCSB is one of them.</p>
