UCSB MINUS parties vs UCD

So because the website includes a listing of STIs, the school must have a high rate of them. Sigh, high schoolers, gotta love em.

Ignoring jmarin's dumb response, I can't provide you with any official studies, but informal studies go against your argument:

<a href="http://www.dailynexus.com/article.php?a=4961%5B/url%5D">http://www.dailynexus.com/article.php?a=4961</a></p>

It's not my job to convince you so do what you want to do. I know I had an incredibly fun time at school, didn't get any STIs, balanced studying and partying, and had great job offers a year before I graduated. I guess it's not a surprise that UCSB had a 15% increase in applications this year (the second highest in the system), and if the trend continues, will overtake UCSD and Berkeley in applications next year.

what was the highest increase in applications this year?

I think UC Davis.

Actually, I agree with rc251. Even though UCDavis might have "slightly" better academic rep. The environment at UCSB is the place to be. Davis is getting too popular for its own good anyways.
