<p>As an incoming freshie planning to live on campus, what are the absolute "must haves" needed to survive the first year. Considering I usually tend to just wing it every school year, I think being just a bit more prepared for living on my own is probably important.... Anyways so most advised bike? laptop (considering im a bio major)? Advice?
Basically what do you wish you would have done or bought or knew your freshman year?

<p>Having a bike is a huge convenience in my opinion. It’s quick, and for the most part painless. You could kill a lot of your time walking, or waiting for a bus.</p>
<p>Having a lap top, especially as a Bio major, is an invaluable tool for research, and/or to consume a large portion of your time - for whatever it is you are doing (idk), which you will/should be doing a lot of. Some things wont be in your book that you need to know, and walking all the way to the library every time you need or want to go online to me seems extremely arduous.</p>
