UCSB or SDSU?

I got in SDSU as an Aerospace Engineering major and in UCSB as Letters and Sciences Undeclared even though I applied as a ME major. I want an AE degree, but UCSB is UCSB. I've been given different answers in getting into UCSB's engineering program. So I'm clueless. How hard is it to switch into engineering in UCSB? Is it worth changing my type of engineering just to go to UCSB? I also want to graduate in 4 years.

Or should I just stick to SDSU? I also got accepted to Long Beach and SJSU for AE...

Thank you

definitely go to UCSB!!!

UCSB has an amazing engineering program! SDSU is too crowded and it’s harder to change majors at SDSU! UCSB FOR SURE.

it’s easy to change majors at UCSB, at least comparatively

Both UCSB and SDSU have great campuses. Both have lots of school spirit. SDSU is located in a very busy area and it felt cluttered when I went to visit. Also, SDSU is more of a commuter school so you’ll see lots of cars. Most people at UCSB bike and it’s more of the traditional college experience that everyone wants.

It’s pretty tough to switch to ME since its a really popular major. But an ME degree can get you in to the aerospace industry (that’s what I’m hoping to do). So I would talk to the college of engineering here and see how hard it will be to change your major to ME. If you think you’ll be able to do it, then go to UCSB.
