UCSB or UCD???

<p>I got into UC Davis for Mechanical Engineering and I have submitted my SIR, but i just got off the waitlist for UCSB today for Mechanical Engineering too. I love both campuses, but I am still unsure which one to pick. Any advice???</p>

<p>Davis Pros:
-know four friends going, including my best friend (only know one person going to sb and we're not as close)
-they have a FOOTBALL team!</p>

<p>SB Pros:
-i hear it has a nicer engineering program (correct me if i'm wrong)
-Socal weather is awesome</p>

<p>There's probably more Pros and Cons, but those are the only ones i can think of right now.

<p>Well, I don’t know much about either school, but UCSB seems like a really cool school (I was going to apply but missed the deadline, and UC OOS tuition is rediculous), and I follow college football a decent amount, and I’m not really sure how much UCD having a football team is a PRO, I mean it exists, but it’s not like a powerhouse or anything. I mean, the University in my town has a D1-FBS team, but most people couldn’t care less. But I could be way off.</p>
