i visited both school within the past week. irvine does have semi-nice weather but it DID get hot when i was walking around. ucsb was very chill and i didn't get hot. i plan to major in econ. sb just won a noble prize in econ. does sb have a better econ program? if so, "how much" better. i really do not know which college to pick. at irvine, i will fit in better nad will be closer to home/friends. at sb, i will be able to concentrate better and the weather is nicer. advice/comments appreciated. thanks.

It's really hard to take this seriously when it appears that your key criterian is a 10 degree weather difference.
