I’m deciding between UCSB, UCR , and SLO! I’m planning to dorm or at the very least live at an off campus apartment . I’m a very outgoing sociable student who is very involved so I’m thinking UCSB is a good fit . I can’t really go based off fincancial aid because I need to appeal my package due to my circumstances having chanced drastically and I can’t do that untill I SIR and choose . I’m going in as a business economics major and the environment of the campus is a big thing for me . Any advice ??
What happens if you SIR, then find out the FA package is not acceptable? Will you have to withdraw and SIR to another school? Will there be time to change your mind? Which schools are afforable now?
Neither of them are affordable for me . They both gave me about 12k in aid , so I’m stuck in a scenario where money is gunna be a problem either way , that’s why I need to decide on other terms
I don’t understand. If they’re not affordable, why are you considering them?
I applied to certain expensive colleges under the impression that I was going to receive a full ride , my estimates were very low , when I received my taxes they we’re double then what I had put as my intial estimate that my dad gave me … Stuck in a tough situation
What are the net prices of all of the colleges that admitted you, and how much will your parents contribute?
Also, what do you plan on majoring in?
