<p>I actually got mailed the current article from Cal… I think you were looking at the info. from 2010. That’s where Cal was #8. Here’s the link. Berkeley is #4! :slight_smile: I haven’t checked to see where the rest of the UC’s are but they are all excellent universities.</p>

<p>They are two different lists. Maybe they changed their criteria?? Makes no difference to me. Both years are good rankings. However the university sent this out to everyone, so I think there was a move upward in the rankings for Cal among others. I don’t think the university would send it out if it wasn’t something to be noted. Thanks for the info. though. :-)</p>

<p>Maybe they just wanted everyone to know their reputation went up in the world??? hahaha… Who knows? Way to go UC’s.</p>

<p>yeah the list in the op is the overall ranking, the one in the first reply is for reputation which i assume takes up a portion of the overall ranking.</p>
