<p>I applied to UCSB with Tag and will have 3.6 going into the last semester before transfer. My major is economics and I was wondering whether the TAG is absolutely guaranteed. Economics is highly selective and would this become a problem. The GPA requirement is a 3.2 and I hope the major wouldn't affect anything.</p>

<p>I suppose it is guaranteed if you complete the courses that you intended on your tag and keep the minimum GPA.</p>
