I'm thinking about majoring in Econ/accounting at ucsb with a tag, if I don't get the 2.75 gpa for the major courses, would my tag be rejected?

Yes, it would. I believe it’s a 3.2 for UCSB btw…

I meant the Econ/acct courses before transfer

I don’t think there is any minimum GPA requirement for specific courses, just make sure your overall ASSIST CERTIFIED courses are >=3.2 after Fall, you are golden.

i think there might be a major gpa requirement too. Since i know for engineer majors it both 3.2 Overall GPA and 3.2 Major GPA same with UCI but for uci it like 3.2 to tag and 3.0 for major.

you are right nguyen, for UCSB you need a 3.2 overall and a 3.2 overall in major pre-requisites for TAG. ONLY for Engineering Majors though.

Consider asking SB’s admission to clear any doubts.

no more UCR?

its either ucr or ucsb, i can get my gpa up to 3.2 by the end of fall, so i can apply for tag

go for it! SB ftw!

u going to ucsb snipe?

nope. SC or SD :D
