what GPA could transfer to UCSB's econ acct major

Now I’m still in city college, and so far my GPA is 3.54, and I want to apply UCSD and UCSB in this fall semester. I only know UCSD'm Econ major need GPA3.6 to get into its best college. How about the UCSB's econ accounting?

You can TAG UCSD as long as you finished IGETC. You can TAG UCSB if you finished macro, micro, calculus, and statistics. I think for both math and english requirement has to be completed in the fall when you apply.

you dont need a 3.6 to get into ucsd’s econ if you have TAG. get TAG, thats the bottom line and you will be in.

btw ucsd’s colleges have nothing to do with academia

^^ Ditto

For more info on both check these out:

[UCSB TAG](http://www.admissions.ucsb.edu/pdf/UCSB%20Fall%202011-12%20TAG.pdf)
[UCSD Transfer Admission Guarantee: Fall 2011](http://www.ucsd.edu/prospective-students/transfers/prep-programs/tag.html)

Wait, so you have to have finished Macro/Micro-Econ, Calculus, and Stats BEFORE you can sign the TAG? ***, that doesn’t sound right…

I got in to Pre-Econ with a 3.73, no TAG in March.

i got into UCSB Pre-econ fall 2011 w/ 3.42 w/ tag and i am still taking macro econ and calc 2

So If I fulfill all the requirements on assist, that basically fullfills the TAG requirement or do I need to finish IGETC and the Courses on Assist website to get the TAG?

im hoping to get in with a 3.81 GPA but missing Calc 2
