UCSB Transfers 2013 (CC-UCs)

@AcceptmeUC Sorry about that! Haha I’m on my iPhone and the stupid autocorrect keeps twisting my words around. Anyway, my sister is currently taking Math 238 right now at CC and she told me that it’s not that hard as long as you study a lot. Depends on what professor you get too and how much you can keep up individually. Since you’ve taken calc already you shouldn’t have a problem then because there are limits and derivatives, etc.

Just keep your hopes up, at least you’re going to know one way or another and it’s APP season. :)

@larinaga Ill keep my dignity and join once i get accepted =)

@Hazgirl411 easy (= and will do!

Hey all, I think YOU guys can help me. I’m waiting for a response from UCSB (Accounting/Econ) major. All my required courses will be completed prior to transfer. But I’m currently taking the last ENGLISH course (Spring 2013), on transcript its say In-Progress. Now, I know UCSB is really strict on math and english requirements, BUT since I got an “A” in my previous english course, do I still have a decent chance? My GPA is 3.53, upward trend. Also, I havent heard from them yet, so I’m really nervous. I’m also taking my two science courses right now, would that affect as well? I nerver of it, just curious.
One last thing. Are the following schools strict with english/math requirements as well?
thank you,

Applied at
UCLA
UCI
UCSB
UCDAVIS
UCR
UCSC
What are my chances at these schools?
