I am an economics major as well, IGETC, no TAG, 3.67

I was thinking about LA but obviously didn’t get it, i still might have chosen UCSB.
Ive always loved santa barbara
and all my friends that go there lllllooovve it

I completed my SIR yesterday! I’m a bio major, IGETC, TAG, 3.3.

I was deciding between UCSB and UCSD for awhile but I’m really happy i decided on sb. I’m looking for somewhere in IV to live, but if that doesn’t happen then I’ll live in the apartments. The dorms are really nice but I just don’t want to live in a dorm hah.

I was accepted as an undeclared major at UCSD, so it would have taken me an extra year to declare my major as biology since it’s impacted. i got into the prebio major at ucsb so it will only take me one quarter to enter into the full bio major. also, i live in LA so it’s a little closer to home and i already have a lot of friends who go to sb.

As a transfer I also want to live in Isla Vista but having visited it there are limited apartment options which is what I would prefer over living in the. I just came across this building called “the Loop” it looks like its going to be really awesome. I signed up to get more information and it will be done next may so I’m hoping to be the first on the leasing list. Just go to [Live the LOOP, Isla Vista | Sustainable student living at UCSB](http://www.theloopiv.com) to sign up!

I will be transferring to UCSB as a jr. this Fall '11. I was considering doing the Summer Transitions Program but they don’t offer any major requirements. I wanted to live in IV but it’s really hard to find roommates and most of the leases start in the summer. Now I am considering the University-owned apts! I still need a roommate! If anyone is interested please e-mail me!

I will be transfering as a junior as well, but money isnt a problem so I think i might live in my own apt in IV. I might dorm though just to socialize, but mainly to use the extra cash on other things =D

I’m actually hoping to get a studio in my senior year. I think I’ll tolerate the roommate thing for a year, but I know how I am–and then roommate situations are usually disastrous…
