UCSB vs SDSU

So I originally got waitlisted at UCSB (my dream school) and I thankfully just got in!

Here’s my situation though. I’m undeclared at both schools, but I for sure want to major in biology and go to dental school. I know that for dental it matters more about your gpa than which school you go to.

Both schools would cost about the same for me, but I was just wondering how much more difficult it will be at ucsb to get a great gpa in biology. I love ucsb and I would die to go but if it will harm my chances of dental school, I don’t want to risk it.

If your study habits are good, there’s no reason why you wouldn’t get decent bio grades at either school.
If UCSB is your dream school and the costs are comparable, then I would say go for it.
Students tend to do best when they are happy. If SB makes you happy, you’ll probably do well.
As long as you go in for pre-health advising early on, I don’t see attending SB as posing any risks to your future in a dental grad program.
