UCSB went from #4 to #10 in Party School!!

Holy crap we just drop by 6 places after a year. I guess the administration goal of shedding the school's party image has been acheived.

Yah, but Playboy ranks them at #2. And I think Playboy knows a little more about parties then princeton review.

Those rankings aren't scientific or anything so I don't know why people put any credibility into them in the first place.

The way I see it... if you can consistently rank top 10 in all party school ratings, then you've got one of the best party schools in the country. Check how many of those other schools consistently rank top 10... the skewed results based on different polls are why we keep shifting in rank, but the idea that we are consistently on the list attests to the fact that we are in fact one of the biggest party schools in the country. If some of those other schools happened to make ONE party school list, they got lucky and got a fair share of kids from that school to vouch for them. UCSB makes it every time.

And since there is no exact calculation on how to rank party schools, you're guaranteed to get results that shift around. But despite that, UCSB prevails. Rest assured that we are still one of the best =)

I hear SBCC is doing the heavy lifting, party-wise. No fair riding the coattails of the guys down the road!

that's okay, i plan to lift it up a spot or two when i arrive... :P

Uhhhhh...UCSB isn't even on the list for 2006, kid. And the 2002 list ranks UCSB at #22.

While I am not going to post the link to the site, but the May 2006 issue of Playboy magazine does indeed list UCSB as the #2 party school.

Found these links. Does anyone have better ones?
