@Meli1168: As a Freshman, she would be considered for any scholarships automatically. Most of the UC scholarships have a financial need associated with them except for Regents which is purely academic.
As a continuing student, if she enrolls and attends, there could be departmental scholarship in which she could be eligible.

UC’s give good need-based aid for in-state eligible applicants. Merit scholarships are given to only a few applicants.
Where did UCSC say we would hear today? What I’ve seen is they say no later than 3/20.
I can’t imagine we would hear on a Sunday - though I thought for sure we would hear last Friday and that obviously didn’t happen…my kid is sold on CU Boulder - he got into half a dozen other schools but I think UCSC is the only one that might sway him from Boulder…fingers crossed I’m not super hopeful
@TheFrenchChef My son got into Boulder too - Congrats to your son - what is his major? Boulder looks like a great option - we were lucky in that he got money from the University and some from the engineering college ( he is CS major).
My guess is that it probably is coming out tmrrw at 3pm PST.
The website says:
March 15-31, 2020
Fall 2020 admissions decisions appear on my.ucsc.edu for all on-time freshmen applicants
March 17-April 30, 2020
Fall 2020 admissions decisions appear on my.ucsc.edu for all on-time transfer applicants
Most people are assuming if they Meant March 16 they would have said March 16.
Does anyone know if last year they were on rolling? Or did all the in-state come out on one day.
what time will the decisions come out
being in social isolation makes the waiting process for the UCs even harder. do people think today or tomo for UCSC?
UCSC released decisions last year starting at 3:20pm. I think we can expect the same thing this year, but due to Covid 19 it could be released either today or tomorrow.
@zoomtransfer123 How would COVID-19 affect it if it’s released on the portal? I’m sure they’d have it generated to send out at a certain time.
Yeah, I think they started rolling admissions already. I got waitlisted for Computer Science
Yep. It’s today! Just got accepted for Computer Science.
