UCSC Conditions of Provisional Admission

Your admission to UC Santa Cruz for the fall quarter 2006 is provisional subject to the conditions listed below. It is important that you read these carefully because your admission will be withdrawn if you do not fulfill these conditions.

Once you have reviewed your conditions, you must click the “I Agree” button on the bottom of the page to continue accepting your offer of admission.

Complete the course work listed on your application and graduate from high school. Notify our office, either by e-mail or by letter, of any changes to your program of study, including attendance at a school different from that listed on your application, as these changes may affect your admission.

Maintain a level of academic achievement in your fall and spring courses consistent with that of your previous course work. No grade may fall below a C.

Submit official scores for the following pattern of tests: either the SAT-R or ACT with combined English and Writing and two SAT-S exams in two different subjects. If you graduated prior to 2006, your required test pattern is: either the SAT I or ACT and three SAT II Subject Tests (including Writing, Mathematics, and one additional test in English literature, a language other than English, science, or social studies).

Have all official transcripts and test scores sent to our office by July 15. (If you receive a GED or CHSPE, an official copy of the results is required.) An official transcript is one that we receive in the institution’s sealed
envelope with appropriate identifying information and authorizing signature.

Advanced Placement (AP) examination results should be submitted directly to our office from the AP Program of the College Board.
