<p>How hard is to go from undeclared(non engineering) to bioengineering at UCSC?</p>
<p>Bioengineering is the most competitive major in all the UC’s. Unless you have very good STATS you may have problems changing. Why didn’t you apply to the major originally? I know for some UC’s you need to declare the Bioengineering Major as a freshman applicant or you are out to luck… I can’t tell if it is possible at UCSC, sorry.</p>
<p>Here is a link you may find helpful. It looks like there is a minimum GPA requirement and course completion requirement for that major. There is only a limited time during each quarter that you can declare - check back for the updated date for next quarter.</p>
