<p>You have a competitive SAT but GPA is low. If you go to a highly competitive HS, you may be forgiven for the low GPA. Not knowing what classes you have taken or grades, I would say all would be a reach. Your GPA is a better reflection of your academic career since it encompasses 3 years of HS. A test score is a 1 day affair, so it is natural more emphasis is placed on the GPA. For UC’s, GPA is king. I would look to some other Cal states as possiblities.</p>
