I was admitted to both schools and have trouble deciding which one to attend. I was accepted to UCSC for Business Management Economics and SDSU for Pre-business Administration Marketing. I am planning on going to graduate school so which college would look better on my application and/or resume? I feel like they’re both equally ranked and we all heard of UCSC being a “lower tiered UC” and SDSU being a “higher tiered CSU,” so which school is better overall? And which school is better for my major?
I’m also a transfer student and would like to consider the social aspects of both schools. Any opinions or information will help, thank you!
I visit SDSU all the time because my girlfriend and some friends go to school there and there is nothing but chill vibes every time I go. I have recently been accepted and will be attending Fall 2016 for Econ. It is a great school for both academics and the social scene plus it’s a really fun and beautiful town. I’ve never been to UC Santa Cruz but I’ve heard great things about it. I would recommend touring both schools as they are both beautiful and see which one you get a better vibe from. Also, if money is an issue I would take into account that Santa Cruz is going to cost more because of the UC system but also San Diego is a fairly expensive city to live in. Good luck with your decision, I hope it all works out!
