Nada: are you talking about acceptances? No. They’re not doing it based on college. For the most part, I believe it’s random.

Are you sure it’s logic? Because as I’ve said before, there have been people who saw their first choice and ultimately did not get into the school. There’s been a bunch of different combinations regarding this, none of which have proved to be a RELIABLE indicator. When I accessed the aventeur site a week ago it had me at Muir, which was my first choice. I was admitted a few days later, but to Marshall. My point: who the **** knows?

See, I didn’t have that information. Based on the knowledge I have, I made a logical assumption of what was going on. Once again, I never said it was a perfect indicator and to take my words with a grain of salt as I wasn’t sure and I don’t think I ever will be. It was a mere possibility of it being a reliable indicator.

Going to be a post at 12! Check your apps at 12am. I just got a text from my friend who called UCSD 2day.

yeah, my fault i didn’t mean that in a critical way. just saying, don’t get too caught up with the aventeur site cause it’s not completely reliable

AHHHHHH post at 12! Two more hourssss

I got none of the crazy voodoo UCSD clues, and I got in on the first wave. Take these ‘signs’ as grains of salt.

Thanks for the info dowork

Mantis: no worries man I just try to find a common ground and I’m trying to take the load off of the anxious people who HAVEN’T gotten their letters.

So I just kinda cruised the Revelle site for parents and the futhest I got was “Your student, my name, must register for orientation before you can sign up for parent orientation”. I tried to register but it wouldnt let me lol.

By the way I am cross-enrolled at UCSD and my college is ERC…but on the app my first choice was Revelle and thats what it took me to. (could be a good sign…but Im NOT relying on it AT ALL)

So maybe it means they have made a decision, but not neccessarily that I got in or something. (Since it wouldnt let me log on at all before…it didnt recognize me)

For the record, the website took me to Thurgood Marshall College, which was my third choice, and that’s the college I was admitted to.

@ dowork, my friend goes to ucsd and he said that you can’t do anything on tritonlink after 12.

anyone else have thoughts on this?

^^^ if that happens to me, ima flip a *****

yeah, i remember checking the housing application thing at 3am and it said you can only do that stuff between 7am-12am or something

It seems like its kind of a rumor that they will be posting tonight at midnight. Ill be up anyway but who knows.

Last time the site was down for maintenance…this time nothing.

i highly doubt anything is coming out… it hasn’t even been a full week since the first batch was released; it doesn’t seem like they are in any hurry to release decisions.

1 more hourr ~~ well… its always good to have hope ^^

whatever, you know we’ll all be checking at 12:01 anyway.

Thats for students bro. i hope its not 12 f***** pm

it may be PM as my friends checked after lunch two years ago but it wasn’t there in the morning. Also, for the guy who who said he got in on the first wave: Were you even looking at the ‘clues’? technically, the letters weren’t even supposed to be sent out until “late” march, and I would consider the 13th “mid” march

As for the not being able to do anything after 12: there are certain features of the site that are not accessible after 12 AM (Housing Application) but a lot of it DOES work. The site is still up and you can still browse around; the site’s functionality is just limited.

Good point, Fenris. That’s a good reminder for all of us starting to get bitter at not getting notification as we’re still in Mid-march.

Btw, when your friends checked two years ago, was this was in high school? And if so, where was it? Was it in San Diego?
