UCSD Acceptance

knightmight- ur wrong my first choice wasnt ERC but thats the school i was accepted to. :(

its okay it has a nice campus…

@knight @oliver
thanks.

@Jane,

You got into the school that was shown on your banner and that school (the one shown on your banner) was not your first choice?

knightmight- yep.

Jane, my dear. Which college are you in?

Hmm… Then maybe there is something behind all this little hints.

I’m starting to get really angry at UCSD. Im going to think about all the things they put through when Im decided where to go. Jerks.

no but seriously, I’m calling them right now. I hope they’re open. I need to get some new solid info.

Evan, my baby. I got accepted at Eleanor Roosevelt College.

its pretty isnt it?

Jane! I had lunch there last week! ERC is really clean and very pretty.

What the hell… UCSD never fails to show how inferior they are to LA and Cal. IT’S NOT THAT HARD TO BE ORGANIZED. Have any of you ever wondered why the UC systems require transfers to submit their applications the same day as freshman, yet the schools are not required to release transfer decisions on the same day as freshman? I’m just sayin.

theregoesevan-yeah it makes the whole MMW requirement okay. i love to be surrounded by beautiful things.
did u catch some sun on the lawn afterwards?
i wanna do that, they have tons of green at ERC

I’m glad you got into ERC (your first choice, right?)

I’m SOOOO happy I got into Marshall (my first choice.) With IGETC, all your GE requirements are completed! Phew!

ERC was my first choice when i applied last year but this year after reading about their requirements i decided to opt for another school, Marshall.

its okay though i can do Making of the Modern World, im good at writing and stuff.

Is MMW really as hard as people make it out to be? Or just a lot of work?

Politricks- it wont be hard for me it would just be more work and im done with everything else! i dont want to do it! :frowning:
but its okay i can handle it.
look at all the b.s. ERC expects us to do.
[Making of the Modern World](http://roosevelt.ucsd.edu/academics/gen-ed/mmw.html)

if i dont get into UCLA/CAL idk imma have to choose between SD and the MMW and UCSB. i am conflicted, but the pretty campus makes up for it.

Jane! We applied to all of the same schools! What is your preference, in order?

Evan, i applied in order of preference : Marshal, Warren, ERC, Muir, Revelle, Sixth.

but im really okay with ERC i have made my peace, when i was in high school i wanted to go there and when i applied last year i wanted to go there too. it must be fate.

Before today when i accessed the Aventeur glitch, I was able to see my first choice John Muir. This page did not have any tabs defined.

Today logging into the Aventeur site, I was greeted by the Thurgood Marshall homepage, which is my second choice. This page had the defined tabs.

Anyone know what this could mean?

BTW, I never received any e-mail from UCSD, and my Application Status is still Pending.

Stats:

GPA:~3.75
Programs: TAG
Major: Psychology

Oh, I meant UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, and UCSB! Lol. But that’s cool, too! ;)

Yeah I’m in the same situation. If I don’t get into Cal or UCLA I’d probably choose santa barbara. Even though UCSD is miles better for my major, I could avoid MMW and actually get good grades and have fun at the same time if I were to go to UCSB. Doing both just doesn’t seem possible at UCSD.

oh evan, lol hahaha.

well then my order of preference is UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD, and UCSB.
but on the FAFSA i listed them in alphabetical order.
