Does anyone know how strict UCSD is on their 250 word limit on appeals? Should it just be close to 250? Or is it life or death between 250 and 251? lol 250 words is so not enough.

It’s always best to ask SD about this type of thing, but from what I’ve gathered/heard it doesn’t really matter if you’re a bit over or under. They aren’t not going to read it because it’s 251 words. Just make sure that if you are over, it’s important stuff and you aren’t repeating what has already been said. They don’t want to read someone rambling on without any substance.

Yeah I would call but it is due tonight and they are already closed for the evening. Waiting till the last minute ftl. lol I just trimmed it about 50 words by rewording my sentences mostly, cut one or two short sentences that didn’t seem to make a huge difference. Just submitted it at exactly 250 words because I really did not want to take any chances without knowing for sure haha thanks for the response though <3

Send em in, better to try than do nothing

When I filled out the form for 200 words, I had 202. It would not let me send, so I had to down it to 200 words.

yay! Good Luck!
