Exactly, did someone not receive those messages?

I didn’t… 8-X I’m completely freaked out now. DID I GET REJECTED oh God…

So… if you got into Davis, do you have at least a decent shot at San Diego? :-S

i feel like everyone got the messages, and there is a low chance that everyone on this thread got admitted

@bouncer I got the same message as well and all the signs that you have been indicating, but I also previously got the housing message saying : “Our records indicate that your admissions status will not allow you to proceed with this Housing Application process for the term indicated.” The housing message made me think that I had not been accepted because others got a different message. So although I received all the signs you indicated, I think that may not be an accurate reflection of our acceptance

@pandabearexpress That’s too negative lol. Be more optimistic.

@bouncer, the message (have accepted our offer of admission) might be a general message they put out for everyone

@thehistoryhacker can you give us some screenshots as proof?

I get this housing message: "The housing application will become available in late-March. Please check back. If you would like to learn more about housing at UCSD, please use the links in the Housing menu above. "

If I was rejected to UCSD, why would I want to learn more about housing at UCSD?

@hc1996, sure, hang on a minute, y’all

I think everyone receives that message, like a default. But at the same time, the “We’re sorry, but you are not eligible to authorize a payer until the day after you have accepted our offer of admission.” gives a little hope

@bouncer then what does it mean that I have the “you are not allowed” message for the housing, but I see everything that you posted about?

As we can see, its probably because you signed in to the actual UCSD page. They consider you an actual student. Don’t expect much and just wait it out. These housing tricks aren’t always right.

So, uhh, how do I post screenshots again? Heh…

I think the original housing trick is more indicative of admission. It seems that everyone can see the billing message. From the original housing trick we learned three things:

People are definitely seeing two different messages when they try and apply for housing.

Those who got acceptance calls had a new housing message directing them to come back later.

No one who got a call had the old message telling them that “their admission status would not allow them….”

do you guys think I still have a shot even though I got a message that I can’t proceed with the housing application process? My stats were average, not incredible. My GPA was pretty good, SAT scores a little more average, and essays were pretty strong, or atleast the second one was.

So around noon PST?

Until they post decisions, everyone has a shot.

@bouncer apparently does like to have fun with our poor gullible brains… We’ll see!

I am still seeing “HTTP Status 401 - MyApplication is currently unavailable to allow for system maintenance. Please check back later in the day.”

@thehistoryhacker you could upload to imgur
