UCSD Class of 2022

Why do you think like that?

@Julieta2321 Why do you think like that?

@Julieta2321 Yeah, why you think so? How do you know UCSD comes in person to deliver notification to your school first?

@orionary My school for the past few years has received the admissions notifications first. We are a partner school of the UCSD campus. They put all the accepted seniors into a room than they tell us before everyone gets told. We get told during first block, so not today. Cause first block is over in six minutes.

I believe she said her high school is located on part of UCSD campus in an earlier post

UCSD posted acceptances on a Friday in 2017 and 2016 for certain based on my son and my good friend’s kids notices on the portal. Not sure what happened in 2015 or before. But it could really be any day this week or early next week. Good luck everyone!

@CopperlineX2 yes, Preuss UCSD. Located on the campus. And yes sometimes it isn’t on a Monday or other day but we always get told first.

@Julieta2321 Tell us when they tell you!

@jayjay7737 of, course!

My bet is this Friday. Good luck all!

I feel like they’d either come today or on Wednesday, but I’m not sure if it’d come on Friday because UCSC comes out on Thursday and I heard rumors that UCLA is coming out on Friday.

@cutiepie679 Are they trying not to coincide? I didn’t realize there was an agreement to that effect.

@psssthoy I thought so, because usually they try not to come out on the same day, it’s a trend I’ve noticed in the past few years. It seems to make sense, too, as all of the UCs want their accepted applicants to come to their schools, so they wouldn’t want their decisions to be released on the same day as another UC, right? Idk, that’s what I’m hoping for.

smh why so much stress about when it’s coming out -_- like you know it’s gonna come out by the end of march and worrying about the date doesn’t rly do anything so just chiLL it’s gonna be okay :’)

While it may be okay others to receive decisions at the end of the month, some of us have to book flights and plan trips to visit campuses, so knowing a more specific time as to when decisions come out is extremely helpful. Overall, it will all work out, I’m sure.

If both your first choice major and alternate major are capped, what happens if you don’t get into your first choice major? Are you tried for your alternate major? or are you automatically accepted as undeclared?

@cutiepie679 For Irvine, I couldn’t select Biochem as my alternate/1st major, so had to pick biological science and undeclared

I really hope decisions will come out today…

Me too!

me too, so tired of waiting
