UCSD College Rankings?

I’m applying for UC’s and SD is one of them. I’m confused about the ranking system on the application mostly because I don’t know the difference between each school. I searched through some threads on here and the consensus seems to be that Warren and Muir are the best, then it kind of falls to Marshall, Sixth, ERC, then Revelle. But those threads are from 2006. Has anything changed, really? I’m an English major going in as a junior transfer.

Each of the colleges has different GE requirements. Look on their website and see which one has requirements that appeal most to you. From what we found last year, Muir and Warren seemed to have the fewest/most flexible requirements, at least for an engineering major. For English, you may find it different.

Oh, by the way - I’m not concerned about the social scene. I don’t party. I love a nice view + quiet + clean. I plan on either having an apartment or being in a single (without getting into detail). I love exercising and it seems like Warren…? Has a nice gym option…? I honestly have no idea.

@youcee Thanks!! It seems like the GE’s don’t apply to me since I am transferring with IGETC/TAG. Requirements are not specified online.
P.S. Awesome username

My D was a transfer student and chose Warren college. The only required classes were 2 upper division ones outside of her major area of study and the Warren writing class. The gym (RIMAC) is for all UCSD students and is very nice.
