ucsd colleges

Im planning on majoring in biochem or premed but I'm really worried about not having a social environment. Muir seems like it't the most social but revelle seems like a great program academically. Is revelle solely focused on school or is it a lot of fun too? Is there a college that's a mix of both?

There is no college that is more or less social than any other college. The only difference between the colleges are their GE requirements, location, and dorms. Pick the one that has the GE requirements you like better.

And Revelle’s “academic program” is no better or worse than any other college. They require more classes to complete their GE requirements, but you could take those exact same classes in any other college, if you wanted to. The only class that is unique to Revelle is it’s writing requirement, but every other college has their own writing requirements, as well.

I’ve read that Revelle has lots of premed a and that’s why it has the reputation of not as social.
