essays mediocre.
I have no clue whether I'm in-state or out of state. It's a little complicated in my case. Don't ask, haha.

I was really much more into Muir than Thurgood...Thurgood was hardly a 1st choice. I'm trying not to take it as an indication of how qualified I was....cuz what does that say about UC Berk/the superbigshotivies, right?

To coolman: never mind - that wasn't your fault. Silly admissions staff. The best get crunched in the crazy admissions process of any uni; don't take it personally and keep your chin up.

i'm not logging in until the "check back later" notice is off, this is too important to risk, and i suggest you all do the same... It would be a great shame if you were accepted and then have your acceptance taken away because you couldn't wait a few hours more

guys..i suggest you not risk it. you've already waited this long, waiting a couple days more is MUCH better than being rejected later because you did something you weren't supposed to.

However, it didnt' strike me as unethical. Decisions were to be out mid-end of March. I assumed the decisions were now out, but that the server was busy - the same thing happened with collegeboard once or twice when a whole buncha people logged on at once, and the UC online pathways app still occasionally tells me its unavailable until I force it by trying/reloading again and again. I assumed UCSD was the same, and didn't think twice about going through cache.

I've already been in and out and in and out downloading the pdfs and revelling in acceptance : ). But okiedoke, no more alerts to friends or logging in...

It's definitely not a surprise. I guess I'll be going to UCLA next year. I would've had a hard time decing between UCLA and UCSD, so UCSD actually helped me out by making the decision.

i think the site is back up now. i got into warren bioengineering. and for mea or anyone, did they say anything about regents or any other kind of scholarship on the page?
