I know that the Blue and Gold plan will apply to me because my family income is at 66,000 a year. Since I will be transferring to UCSD and living at the village, I was wondering if anyone had any help from grants and scholarships to help pay for Off campus housing especially if you're applying as a low income student.
I also know that it's about 10,600 a year to rent.</p>

<p>I believe Cal Grant B is used for living expenses.</p>
<p>My understanding is the UC will take all grants and scholarships received and put them towards tuition/fees. If you still have need after that, then they will give you a school grant for the remainder, which is what the blue & gold is. </p>
<p>Cal grant B does help with living expenses. Not sure of any other housing specific aid. I know I’ll probably have to get some sort of loan next year to afford moving out</p>
