<p>The application priority filing deadline passed tonight, so now we should know who's hoping to transfer to UCSD. I wanted to see if some of you would like to help build something that has our todo's, dates, and other useful tidbits of information. Some of us will understand part of the process better than others, and it'd be great if we could share that in one place that's easy to reference.</p>
<p>I'd prefer to keep this first post updated, but I believe this website won't allow the first post to be updated.</p>
<p>So the options I've thought of, in the order in which I like them are:
Google Wave
Google Docs (if this works)
My own website
Office Live
Facebook (no idea how this would work)</p>
<p>Google Wave requires invites, but I should be able to take care of that. Just let me know if you want a Wave invite.</p>

<p>I’m actually a UCSD Winter 2010 transfer, but anyways…you can try setting up a Yahoo! Group, it has a group event calender, message board, and bunch of other stuff you can use. Another option is the idea about a UCSD Fall 2010 transfer Facebook page since almost everyone has a facebook account nowadays…</p>

<p>The group thing kinda works. I don’t know who can edit that calendar, but if multiple people can, that solves half the problem.</p>
<p>I’d like something more like a document though. Then we could do something like:</p>

Make sure your old schools mail your transcripts to </em></strong>_ or you can hand deliver an official copy to ______. The website says it has to be delivered, but last winter they accepted transcripts after the deadline, so at least try to get your transcripts postmarked by the deadline.</p>

<p>Raliem, I was a winter transfer too. I guess I still officially am, and could be should I choose to. Anyway, we both know some of the same questions came up over and over again on the boards and at school. I found some of my answers by browsing the UCSD website and reading many different threads on this site, but that really sucked to take all that time on all those documents, so I hope we can make it easier for all. I’ll probably start a Google Wave for myself. I’m just hoping that others may be helped and will give back a little help too.</p>
<p>So I guess the application deadline has been pushed back according to an email I got back from someone at the UCOP. If there’s anyone else that wants to transfer to UCSD, you have until tomorrow, December 2nd.</p>
