You would probably need to talk to admissions. Cut off for updated courses to be considered is end of spring but I think admissions sometimes takes credit for summers courses. Not entirely sure though so I would double check with them!
Hey guy, new to this thread but thought I’d give me two cents cuz why not. If there is a IG group chat I’d love to join and meet some people.

Hey @itskelvinn what was your gpa and such? I’m an aerospace major too that’s still waiting on a decision so It’d be great if I can get an idea of what the cutoff gpa was since you were probably on the edge of the cutoff if you got your alternative major.
Hey @brpere1175 I noticed you had an IG group chat going, would u mind if I joined? If it’s too many people tho no worries. My profile is two comments above, just posted.
My Facebook is 6 years old with middle school pics on it so that’s why I was thinking IG. Haha. I could post an up to date profile pic on my fb tho and join But yeah.
@altvillager To answer your question about meeting your prereqs in order to be admitted, it is not necessary to finish all the courses but it is HIGHLY recommended. You are able to miss a few prereqs because they have to make it an even playing field for students coming from CCC’s where courses you may have aren’t offered. Although, they still do place a great importance on completion of the prereqs since they will most likely be taken before upper division classes. Your acceptance maybe also hinged on the applicant pool and where you stood within that pool.
@doublek20 my GPA was 3.71.

Hey guys, so I got in I was considering taking a W for my chem class this semester, I have so much on my plate and I just don’t want to earn a bad grade, so I was wondering if this would affect my admission?
E-mail admissions before dropping any classes. They will tell you how it will affect your admittance. Had a friend drop a pre-req math class last year without any problems, but she contacted UCSD’s admissions office beforehand.
