@brpere1175 ill message you my ig!
@BoredEngineer Thank you!! Same to you
@brpere1175 sure! I’ll send it now!
Warren is a super good one! Most engineering students go there though. There isn’t really much of a difference for transfers because most of us already completed our GEs. Basically it dictates what kind of GE requirements you have to have to move to upper division and who you will graduate with. The only other difference is where you will live but transfers get the Village as a transfer community so it doesn’t really matter.
@MichaelJarvis Marshall is good! The Econ building is located really close to it!
Can I join the IG group chat as well? I live right outside the school so I know the school well! And I will be there on Triton day. Warren represent! And like someone said earlier colleges don’t really matter if you have IGETC done! All you need is another college specific writing class. Not sure about Revelle tho! Revelle has the most ridiculous GE requirements. So pm me your IG @littlebuns @Bdnsc369 @brpere1175 if you want. I can also give someone a ride around La Jolla to show you the town and nearby hangout places after the Triton Day activities. Do take into account that the living cost down here is really high so calculate that into your budget when you do your tuition and fees numbers! Two movie tickets and a few snacks in the two cinemas outside the school can rack up to 60 bucks!! And food in La Jolla isn’t exactly cheap either. Good thing the school have many, many dining halls to choose from (one for each college, and there’s the Bistro at the transfer housing the Village) and even some nice restaurants and fast food places! And there’s an amazing food court in one of the biggest malls in San Diego county right outside the school. Literally the best life you can have as a college student. Unless you crave parties everyday. For that you’'ll have to drive to SDSU but it’s close and they do have some crazy parties.
@frkfr93 @littlebuns @bdnsc369 @brpere1175 count me in the group chat too!! Who do I send my IG to?
@frkfr93 Just message me yours please because I already made a group message
I got into Thurgood Marshall for Physics (my alternate behind Aerospace Engineering). Can anyone tell me some of the pros and cons of Mashall?
Hey folks!
Got accepted to UCSD and was wondering if there was was a transfer group fb page or chat I could join up on?
Never too early to get to know people!
@Billnye22 I don’t think there’s a FB group yet but if someone wants to do it, I’m game to join. Or I can make it, whatever works.

Alright folks! Seeing as there isn’t yet a transfer group on fb; I went ahead and created one!
Search for UCSD Transfer 2017 Group on Facebook and send a request through!
It’s still pretty bare bones, so feel to throw out suggestions on what else we can include!
Also just a heads up! I’m gonna be asking what your major, college are and where you are transferring from just to make sure you legit :)>-
I wanna join it but I’m not accepted yet, I’ll definitely get on it when I see my decisions
