@CAtransplant I was just thinking I should go over and look through that thread. (Edit: 165 pages in that thread! …not sure I’ll be able to find it again…)
Why would the school make the same mistake two years in a row?..Perhaps it’s an attempt to keep us interested in the school while we wait for decisions…?
ha ha @kristinpete - perhaps. Is Triton Day only for admitted students? ETA: never mind, I just googled it and I see there is one in May that is just for admitted transfer students. Interesting. Let us know what you find in last year’s thread.
@CAtransplant It simply says “for admitted students”…no indication of freshmen or transfer
Edit: Ok, I clicked on another link in the email and the first sentence reads “This is an invitation-only program for select UCSD-admitted high school seniors”… So it’s clearly a mistake!
Wait now that I think back, wasn’t there an option to receive info on Triton Day and campus “days” etc… when filling out the application. I know I opted out of that because I’ve been there many times.
Got the same e-mail “Dear {first}” Tried to apply on but there’s an error message, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug. Too bad, I wanted to get excited there for a moment lol
Does anyone know what the admissions process for the Arts Department is like? The long wait for the decisions is making me anxious since I’ve already been accepted into every school besides UCSD and UCLA.

@sarcappuccino I don’t know specifically about the arts programs, but UCSD and UCLA are known not to release decisions till late April, so we still have a little bit of waiting to do
