UCSD Med Scholars

Glanced at NU's schedule this fall and noticed they don't even play Penn State. Maybe next year. Maybe Paterno will still be coaching and will come to town. Are you guys going to show up at the NU games with your faces painted purple?

Hey, UCSD sounds pretty neat, too! No football team, but ya got like the beaches, the Cove, the bikinis, the cool ocean breeze, the weather -- sounds pretty neat to me!!

Back to UCSD Med Scholars....

did anyone who interviewed hear back yet?

OK

I got a call from Dr. Kelly telling me that I got into UCSD Med Scholars at about 3:20 pm today.

Good luck to everyone else!!!

Holy Moly! That's wild!
Congrats!
(No Paterno, but who cares?)

Gomez,

you... umm.. keeping a track on my posts man?.. cuz.. as soon as i post anywhere, you reply... LOL =D

makes me feel special =P

but yeah... ty for the congrats, but i already sent in my stuff to NU HPME.. cuz... well.. i didnt really like the UCSD program. I sent in my NU things the very next day after the interviews for the UCSD med scholars =P

Maybe NU will do OK this year. I dunno.
Keep an eye on Penn State and Paterno, tho. When will he decide no more?
New coach at Michigan. How will he do?
Ohio State always tough.
That Jim Tressel and his scarlet, sleaveless vest sweater ...
Smell the freshly-mowed grass.
Smell the cool autumn breeze.
Watch the leaves change color.
Wisconsin, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana,
And don't forget South Bend,
All within a few hours drive.
Football country. Time to TAILGATE!

Sounds like you care more about Paterno and football than Medicine... =P
