UCSD or Carnegie?

^ depends on your standards. I’m fine with what I saw and pleased really.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It basically scared me, I mean I thought SD would have nicer looking people but from what I saw…
I don’t mean to insult people but there were some really fat/ obese people there.

Lmao ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

WHat’s so funny ? ^^^^

Haha I don’t see that many obese people… La Jolla is a beautiful, outdoorsy place and thus a lot of people exercise regularly.

HS2009, try reading the threads for a while before posting. You’ll make less of a fool of yourself. Sorry to be so rude but really this topic has been beaten to death.

I’ve seen like… 2 obese people during my time here. Might have been the same person even

No **** there are some overweight people here.

There are overweight people everywhere. It’s like walking to UCSD and criticizing it for having buildings.

Wow guys, just asking for opinions before i finalize my decision
no need to call me names
nvm , i probably made the better choice anyways

“It’s like walking to UCSD and criticizing it for having buildings.”

lmao

Well this place had lots of little chubby people. I mean I am 6’ 2’’ , 187lbs, well built and i consider myself average but at UCSD more people were wider than they were tall.

dude there are fat people everywhere
and 6’2" and 187 lbs is considered very fit
i am 5’8 and 155lbs and i ain’t complaining
plus UCSD has SDSU right next to it ( i think) so you can always have ur fair share of stuff there… no need to criticize fat people … they have it tough already.

NOT right next to it. a decent drive, confirmed by google maps.

and just curious amby262roy, if you’re going to UCSB (congrats), what still brings you around here? :)

thanks Astrina,
alot of my friends got into UCSD but don’t know any clue about what to do.
like one of my friends is doing Bioengineering: Premed ( i think) and he says that if he does do well here, he can’t do anything and some other people are doing CS so if i could help my peeps happy that makes me happy as well. =)
and can YOU please answer a question of mine =)
Is it possible to switch between colleges because on of my friends in an undeclared life science major stuck in ERC where they apparently have 6 quarters of writing as part of their GE. He really wants to go to Muir, so is it possible for him to switch out?
thanks again

possible? theoretically, yes.

realistic? don’t bet on it. LOTS and LOTS of college-switching threads to be found on the forum.

thanks astrina

^Hey, that was a pretty civilized comment you made up there. Thanks for being nice haha!

amby262roy is still a d-bag

HS2009 : ^ ***, what did i do now?
sheesh ppl in the UCSD thread hate me or something

ucsandiego915 : np

We don’t hate you, amby
its just that you are very annoying
