Ucsd Or Uci

i just got accepted to ucsd (revelle) and uci
i plan on going in the premed route and need some advice
are both schools relatively same caliber in the eyes of med schools?
if i do go to uci will i have an easier time getting better grades than at ucsd?
are higher level science classes easier to get better grades at irvine or san diego or just about the same?
how important is the gpa? mcat? in eyes of medschool
is gpa is weighted more than mcat or are they equal

thanks!

I have the exact same question as well! Except I am also considering UC Davis in the picture, though I am leaning towards UCSD or UCI premed...

i think it depends what you want to major in. for biology/other sciences both schools will be same in level of competition (so ive heard). But overall, id say go to UCSD if you like the environment because it will open up more opportunities for EC's and SD is widely respected in the sciences.

I go to UCSD and I spoke to somebody in my physics class who transferred from UCI and she said it's about the same difficulty. I am taking upper division biology and chemistry courses at UCSD right now and they are really hard, and a lot of people change their future plans because of this. If you want more info, let me know.
