<p>U of A ranks a lot lower than UCSD, and UCSD is much better for engineering. Plus its in Tucson, compared to SD. A 20 minute drive to downtown San Diego isn't that bad to find your Aryan princess.</p>

<p>Are you being sarcastic? From my white perspective, nearly every asian girl is ugly. The only remotely good looking ones are supermodels and even those can't hold a candle to white supermodels. UCSD sets the bar lower by not only having asian girls, but all the rare white girls are fat-n-ugly or built-like-a-horse ugly too. So yeah, the girls are ugly there...oh so ugly.</p>
<p>UCSD itself has an ok campus. It isn't stunning or anything...kinda gloomy on cloudy days...mismatched architecture...etc. And another negative point is that the campus is massively spread out. But it has the beach I guess...at OVT you can eat lunch and watch people surf.</p>

I would like to let everyone know that when I first learned about this site, I hoped to recieve invaluable first hand information about the schools I am considering. It's just sad how there are people who just want to pick a fight and grasp others attention.

<p>sorry, ok i'm not really sorry to say this, but you're an idiot if you choose one college over the other just because one has slightly more korean girls. theres tons of asians at both SD and UCI. i don't think there's going to be a dire shortage of korean girls anytime soon...</p>

I care more about those two than the last one even though it'd be nice if the college had all 3. I never implied that all the girls were ugly, that's why I had a "?" when amateurcollegegu posted that. Umm.. <p>but to answer your original question, i think you should definitely choose UCSD. SD's sciences/engineering are very strong, so for your major SD is a better choice. imo UCSD is much better looking and the location is great too. if you've never been to la jolla its really beautiful there. irvine just seems kind of dried up to me. its ok though. </p>
<p>@ihatehighschool: does it matter if im good looking or not? if i said i was pretty you'd probably think more favorably of me but you'd also wonder why i cared about people judging based on looks since why would it matter to me. plus you might think i was arrogant or vain.. if i said i was ugly you'd think i was a bitter reject and you'd be like ewwww. anyway, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder so what can i say?</p>

<p>I'm not sure about anyone else but I think that's qualitative evidence of racism. Not all asians are Pre-Meds or "squinty-eyed". True, you never said that Whites are 100% superior to Asians but that statement in itself implies that whites Are in fact superior to Asians. </p>
<p>Look at any study out there, it's all about culture. A late generation Asian-American unconsciously lives/acts just like your white buddies. Ethnicity doesn't mean anything, it's all in the upbringing.</p>
<p>Having said that, each is entitled to his/her own opinion and little others say will change it. Good luck in college, maybe it'll be an enlightening experience when you find some of these "squinty-eyed Pre-Med" Asians among your friends.</p>
