UCSD Revelle Freshman classes

Yes, another one of "those topics," haha. So as it stands, I'm currently a Math-Econ joint major, and I have no clue why/what I want to do in life :] The situation is that I'm in the Army Reserve, and will be shipped off in January. For sure I won't make winter semester, and I don't think I'll make it in time to take spring semester. As a result, I don't want to take a sequential course this fall semester, only to forget what I learned after I get back. So I'm thinking:
ANTH 23 - Pedersen, David / HILD 7A - Widener, Daniel *depends on what's available
PHYS 11 - Anderson, Michael G. *this will finish off my natural sciences, except bio
MUS 15 (Hip Hop) - Burr, Anthony
HUM 3 - Rutherford, Donald *are freshman allowed to take hum?

With credit from APUSH, this will allow me to eliminate all GEs that only require 1 course.

One more question is the subject of language. While I'm Vietnamese, my Vietnamese is horrible to the point that with 3 years of HS Spanish, I can probably speak both at around the same caliber. Pretty much, I blow at both of them. I didn't take Spanish senior year though, so my abilities have deteriorated. Could I handle Vietnamese for Vietnamese speakers? I kind of feel bad that I never learned, haha.

Sorry for double post, but I couldn’t figure out how to edit. As it turns out, Phys and Hum are at the same time, so I’m going to go to with Physics. As a result, I’m thinking of taking the Vietnamese for Vietnamese Speakers class. I figure I can strengthen my basic Vietnamese, and then kind of study over summer until next term. So what do you guys think, and opinions of the teachers?
