Im going to start researching about class enrollment, but i wanted to post this thread before hand to hear some input by the CC community.

Im an incoming Freshman at Revelle and im registered as an Economics major. The recommended classes i received from the advisers are:
.Math 10B
.Chem 11
.Econ 1
.and one of the classes for American Cultures.
(Anthropology 23, Ethnic Studies 1A, History 7A, Socialogy 1, and Urban Studies and planning 1)

I dont have a problem with following the Four-Year plan and the taking the advised classes for Fall quarter. But.. when i was in highschool, ive always imagined myself taking 3 language classes in college. Im Korean, and long story short - I was able to study Japanese in Japan for 8 years of my life. I came to America, and for my language requirement in highschool - i took french.. ended up taking AP French too.

I wanted to study these languages so i would be able to retain my trilingual skills (hopefully quadrilingual if I master French heh.. :P ) but would it be a stretch for me to take 3 foreign language classes and advance to an upper division class in each language? Would i be able to do that without exhausting myself?... and if i could, when would be the best time for me to squeeze those classes in?

i think this info would help you guys help me :P
I got a full 800 on the Korean SAT2 test
and a 5 on the AP Japanese Language test
didnt take AP French test cuz i knew i would have gotten a 1.. haha
so im pretty comfortable jumping to advanced classes on korean and japanese right off the bat.

Im thinking of just cruising through my freshman year with the four year plan to get a feel for how college is gonna be for me. then, start squeezing in language classes starting Sophomore year.
what do you guys think?
