I'm an incoming freshman entering as an Electrical Engineering major at Thurgood Marshall College. I've looked up AP credit for Thurgood Marshall, and I've managed to place out of every GE except the DOC sequence, one quarter of fine arts, and two quarters of humanities.

I received a 4 on the APUSH exam, and for it, I will get credit for 2 quarters of U.S. History, listed as HILD 2A and 2B. The humanities track Marshall recommends is HILD 7A, 7B. The AP credit sheet doesn't say anything about it fulfilling the humanities requirement one way or another. My question is, would I still receive humanities credit for APUSH?

I'm not a big fan of history classes, and would prefer not to take them so I can concentrate on my major. Would a current or former student be able to advise me on this matter?

Thank you.
