UCSD to UC Berkeley Decision

So, I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to go to Berkeley in the fall.. Ultimately, my goal is to get into medical school. I'm a General Biology major at UCSD (@ erc.. hate mmw) and I got admitted as a Integrative Biology major at Cal.

Here are my main concerns:

1) How many classes/credits will transfer over to Cal (I don't want to be wasting time retaking classes I already have credit for here at UCSD). My biggest concern is the credit for my general biology classes which I obtained through an AP score of 4.
2) The competition I will be facing at Cal as opposed to here in SD. (Will it be that much harder as people say it will be? not only in classes, but outside obtaining internships, volunteer positions, lab research positions.. i already have a lab position here in SD)
3) My application for Medical School. (How will a Berkeley degree compare to a UCSD degree? ... possibly in terms of connections or additional benefits in going to a more widely recognized school like Cal)
-Also, does the fact that UCSD has a medical school and that Cal does not matter?
-Also, how do the biology departments compare? I've always heard Bio at UCSD is amazing, but I've never really been sure as to how good it is.

Overall, should I go? and why?
Thanks a lot, any input would help!(:

Btw, congrats to all the other transfers that made it into Cal!!
