<p>You have opted in to the UC San Diego waitlist. Because you were given the waitlist option, we know that you are an outstanding student, one who we would like to offer admission if additional space becomes available. Please be patient, as this process may take some time. We will notify you of our final application decision by email and on this MyApplication site after June 1 and no later than July 1. If you are offered admission to UC San Diego from the waitlist, we will need your response via MyApplication within three calendar days. Please be sure to check your admission status regularly and make sure that UC San Diego Undergraduate Admissions is included in your safe sender email list. </p>

<p>I did not receive an email about my change in admission I had to login to my UCSD account to find out about it.</p>

<p>I just checked the website of Muir for information about orientation. It says a postcard will be sent in mid-June for more specific instructions on how to sign up for an orientation. So should we expect that we will receive the admission decision this week?</p>

<p>@pavelmr Did you finish all the major requirement and IGETC? I am getting really frustrated here. I am a Biochemistry/ Cell Biology major with a 3.6 and I am still pending. Maybe because I am an international student?</p>

<p>Molecular Biology Major here with a 3.44 GPA, didn’t get any news from UCSD today either. Seems like the cutoff was rougher than we’d thought :&lt;/p>

<p>They just hired 2 new professors for CS so that is why they can take some CS students of the waitlist. I think international maybe treated differently.</p>
